Book Arts was the quarterly journal for the Center for Book Arts, NY. The journal ran from Spring 1975- 1982, when it was renamed Book Arts Review (until circa 1991). The title was later titled Koob Stra (from 1993-circa 1997/8, reformatted as a newsletter), and then Book Arts Review, New Series (from Fall 1998-?, reformatted back to a quarterly journal).

The journal includes historical and how-to articles on book arts techniques such as bookbinding, papermaking, and printing; interviews with artists; Center class offerings; and book arts exhibition / event listings.
